Within the last 6 months both Ireland & UK have seen gas and electricity prices go through the roof. But who is to blame ? Is it just a case of price gouging and following the money or is there more to it ?
The scapegoat for the price hikes has naturally been Russia and will continue to be the Ukraine/Russia conflict as nothing can be attributed to the disastrous Covid lockdown policies for 2 years. Ukraine/Russia fits the narrative, Covid doesn’t.
At the beginning of the pandemic petrol was at rock bottom prices. The only problem was you weren’t allowed to travel anywhere with 2km and 5km restrictions in place.
Roll on 2 years later and the prices have gone through the roof. It will probably come as little surprise that the World Economic Forum has very close ties to both Irish and UK energy providers.
The Electricity Supply Board (ESB) in Ireland is 95% government owned. It’s CEO up until 2021 was Pat O Doherty who is a WEF agenda contributor.
https://www.weforum.org/agenda/authors/pat-odoherty
Doherty even contributed an article to the WEF site entitled “How a system value approach can help Ireland meet its climate targets”
https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2021/05/system-value-approach-ireland-climate-targets/
So that’s just one WEF connection. It goes deeper though.
Bord Gáis Energy is a utility that supplies gas and electricity and boiler services to customers in the Republic of Ireland. Bord Gáis Energy has been in operation in some form since 1976 and supplies over 750,000 customers with energy in Ireland.
Back in 2014 Bord Gais was purchased by Centrica who are also in WEF.

But what about the UK ? In 1997 BG Group was created and British Gas was demerged into two different entities: BG Group and Centrica. BG Group is also a WEF member.

None of this is being concealed. It is hiding in plain sight on the World Economic Forum web site. The problem is the media is complicit and will not inform the general public.
Centrica state on the WEF site
“Centrica supplies energy and energy-related services to around 28 million customer accounts, mainly in the UK, Ireland and North America, through strong brands such as British Gas, Direct Energy and Bord Gáis Energy”
Another energy company who operate in both Ireland and the UK is Spanish company Iberdrola. Many will have never even heard of them but they are a true behemoth. They operate under the brand ScottishPower in the UK. They have been operating in Ireland for 20 years.
On their site they say
“We’re working on a better, greener future. We’re part of the Iberdrola Group, one of the world’s largest integrated utility companies and a world leader in wind energy. At Iberdrola Ireland, we’re new to the Irish energy market but, we’re here to stay and help build a more sustainable future for everyone”
https://www.iberdrola.ie/aboutus
Its main activities are the production, distribution and supply of electricity and gas. The company is mainly focused on the United Kingdom, United States, Spain, other European Union countries, Mexico and Brazil, serving a population of more than 100 million.
No surprise that Iberdrola are also a WEF partner.

All of these companies are supposedly going green and constantly use words like “renewable” and “sustainable”. These companies are at the beck and call of the WEF and are doing their utmost to implement Agenda 2030 which they will claim is in the name of sustainability.
To implement these policies the WEF has strategically placed politicians and advisors in situ. Ireland’s Minister of Environment Eamon Ryan of the Green Party is also a WEF agenda contributor.
https://www.weforum.org/agenda/authors/eamon-ryan
Back in 2015 he wrote an article entitled “Why Europe Needs An Energy Union”
https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2015/02/why-europe-needs-an-energy-union/
Eamon Ryan also appointed his former special adviser Morgan Bazilian to the Climate Council.
It wasn’t just a case of Ryan handpicking Bazilian, it is far more likely he was instructed to appoint Brazilian as he is also heavily involved with the WEF. They are all singing from the same hymn sheet.

Small mercies that we are heading into Summer but later on in the year some people will have to make decisions whether to eat or heat their house. With lies being told in the complicit media about the true rates of inflation we can only expect food prices and energy prices to continue to skyrocket.
The WEF and their partner companies have a lot to answer for as we potentially head towards a ‘Winter Of Discontent’.
PS I would really appreciate any of the Twitter accounts that follow me to tweet out this article. I’ve had 2 accounts purged. 19k and 8k. I won’t be opening up a 3rd account as I would just be cancelled again.
Just copy and paste the below. Many Thanks.
