Are Ireland, UK And Countries Globally On A Runaway Train To Becoming Cashless ?
Since Covid kicked off in March 2020, the drive to going cashless has been relentless. Relentlessly pushed by the media that is, especially by Ireland’s state propaganda broadcaster RTE, The Irish Times and The Independent. This isn’t just an Irish or UK issue but is happening globally.
In this article I’m going to use Ireland’s timeline as an example to show you exactly how they are trying to normalise a cashless society. If you are reading this outside of Ireland you can be pretty sure that similar shenanigans have been utilised wherever you are living.
The great conspiracy theorist David Icke back in 1996 was scoffed at, ridiculed and laughed at for talking about a cashless society, world central bank and world currency. The slight inconvenient truth though is that he was right. Let’s not forget, that was 25 years ago.
Since then countries have discussed going cashless with articles being thrown out into the public domain. In 2018 RTE wrote

But then something interesting happened. Covid miraculously made an appearance and everything changed. In the same month that Covid became a thing in March 2020, the discussion of going cashless re-entered the public domain again. Probably just a coincidence I am sure.

Some members of the public were quick off the mark sending letters in to The Irish Times citing their displeasure
Then Ireland and countries world-wide went into lockdowns within weeks of one another. Jon Williams the head of RTE tweeted out a list of Covid 19 restrictions.
Buried in the list was one which would have been missed by many
“Significantly raise the amount of money available on cashless card transactions”
Then a very smart deliberate ploy was put into play. Tell everyone that you could catch covid by using cash and notes. From early on shops started to only accept cards and the big government push to a cashless society was well under way.
In June 2020, RTE Radio 1 ran a segment called “A Cashless Society” where Consumer Journalist Siobhán Maguire joined Sarah McInerney to discuss the impact of not using cash during the time of the pandemic and if this is the new normal.
According to the podcast the WHO had advised since March 9th for people to begin using cashless transactions due to Covid. Interesting that, considering lockdowns didn’t start to be implemented until the following two weeks. There couldn’t possibly be anything unusual about that !!

You might have forgotten the propaganda coming out of China as well back in March 2020. Apart from people falling down and dying in the streets, the Chinese were burning money because of the potential spread of Covid.
From the very beginning of Covid the concept of cashless was deliberately being seeded in the public’s subconscious so we would get used to the idea.

As Winter 2020 approached the fear factor was ramped up yet again. We were told by the Irish Independent that the
“Virus may remain infectious for up to four weeks on phone screens and banknotes”
The article said
“Scientists at the Australian Centre for Disease Preparedness showed SARS-CoV-2 is "extremely robust," surviving for 28 days on smooth surfaces such as glass found on mobile phone screens and plastic banknotes at room temperature, or 20C.
They found the longer survival time of SARS-CoV-2 than seasonal flu on banknotes "of particular significance, considering the frequency of circulation and the potential for transfer of viable virus both between individuals and geographic locations".
This was really quite clever. Not only did coins and notes spread Covid but if you were travelling abroad then you could be carrying Covid with you, thus spreading it. Naturally no evidence was provided for this outrageous claim.
That didn’t stop RTE presenter Ryan Tubridy mentioning it on the Late Late Show as well. Ireland’s most watched TV show was taking advantage of coronavirus to get us to switch to a contactless cashless society.
There was no let up at all. In January 2021 The Independent put out a podcast called

The pandemic has made Ireland -- and every other country -- into largely cashless societies. From Apple Pay on your watch to Revolut on your phone, cash has faded away in daily life.
A common theme from these podcasts is that the presenters and guests talk of money being in their wallets since covid broke out and just using cards to pay for everything.
One of the guests on the show was Stephen Kinsella, Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Limerick's Kemmy Business School. What they neglected to mention on the show was that Kinsella is a member of the World Economic Forum.

In the podcast they spoke of Sweden being cash free as a society from March 23, 2023. They also mentioned its safer for people not to carry cash as muggings would then stop. Remember this is for your safety !! This was just more seeding of the cashless idea.
6 months later in the media, there was yet again talk of a digital euro currency. RTE ran an article called

The European Central Bank are also a WEF member
The big mobile operator Three also signalled their intent to go cashless in all their stores in Ireland.
RTE, The Irish Times and The Independent were now doing the groundwork for the government to introduce a cashless society. On Aug 24 2021 yet another 12 minute segment on the Claire Byrne show was discussing the cashless society.
The majority of people who were interviewed about their spending habits for the most part said they used cards. Just an accident of course.

However going cashless has not proven to be as plain sailing as it was compared to convincing everyone of the Covid hoax. In July 2022, Allied Irish Banks (AIB) climbed down over plans to remove cash services from 70 branches due to ‘public unease’. AIB had to reverse its decision to turn 70 branches into cashless facilities after a massive backlash.
Apparently Irish Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe welcomed the U-turn. In a statement, he said banks have “a key role in maintaining the flow of cash through the economy and ensuring appropriate access to retail banking services for all in society, including the vulnerable”.
Independent.ie revealed how Mr Donohoe and the rest of the Coalition were left in the dark as to the bank’s controversial plan to downgrade its branches.
Except this is complete and utter nonsense. Donohoe knew perfectly well of AIB’s plans. They were chancing their arm and testing the waters to see if the gullible Irish public would accept it. They didn’t and he subsequently distanced himself because of the reaction it got.

Things didn’t exactly improve on the cashless front when free food and drink was provided to attendees at an American football match in the Aviva Stadium in August following a technical issue which prevented card payments being made.
The Aviva made the decision to go cashless and saw card transactions unable to be processed for two hours due to an issue with the payment provider.
This problem could have been solved if they accepted cash but instead they lost a small fortune.

But the media and government are not giving up easily. They are constantly seeding the idea of going cashless. RTE on September 3rd 2022 tried to spin it in such a way trying to convince people that cash can cost the less well-off.

They are constantly trying to normalise it. Isn’t it funny how all the major media carry the same story at the same time. It’s almost as if they are trying to push the same narrative.
2 days after the RTE article, The Irish Times ran an interview with Gavan Reilly, a journalist from Virgin Media Television. He said
‘The last time I withdrew cash at an ATM in Ireland was in February 2020′
This was in the body of the interview but was deliberately used as the headline.
Funny how they would never interview the average punter on the street. The reaction might be somewhat different.
Only a couple of days ago on September 7th, RTE yet again had another segment called Cashless Society on the Claire Byrne Show. They do seem to have a lot of shows called Cashless Society over the last 2.5 years.
This time though it backfired. I’m not sure if the researcher screwed up and didn’t research the guests properly but they were very anti cashless society.
Guest and certified financial planner Bob Quinn said some very notable things. He said
“Every transaction which is cashless can be monitored, every transaction can be taxed”
He then continued
“Cash is required for the undocumented, the unbanked for the younger people who don’t have debit cards”
Those 2 sentences from Bob Quinn encapsulate everything you need to know about what the ‘powers that be’ are trying to attempt.
Once it’s cashless you will be on a Digital ID system with Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC). Everything you do will be tracked, traced and surveilled. Everything can be shut down at the drop of a hat. Everyone will be in the system.
I’m not quite sure if the interview went the way it was meant to go as RTE always have an agenda. Maybe they were throwing us a crumb like they do from time to time.
The one concerning thing guest Jimmy Smith said was that going cashless was “inevitable”. Maybe RTE want the population to believe it’s inevitable as that was the same word used in a previous Claire Byrne show. If so, then I think the interview may have backfired. They may have accidentally woken up a few more people. It’s also highly unlikely that Jimmy & Bob will be allowed back on RTE as their views don’t fit the narrative.

There are very few coincidences over the last 2.5 years. Some will naively claim that Coronavirus presented itself as an opportunity for businesses to go cashless. Except that isn’t what happened at all. Anyone with half a brain can see that every step has been meticulously organised, from the WHO putting out statements prior to the beginning of lockdowns, to the propaganda of covid spreading on notes and coins, to the burning of notes, to the WEF connections on podcasts and in government and to the media relentlessly giving airtime to the cashless society.
The propaganda for the “Great Financial Reset” cashless society is well under way and would lead to more control for the powers that be, to the detriment of the poor. If a Digital ID and Digital currency are implemented the next step is a social credit score system just like in China. That really doesn’t bear thinking about….
You are over the target . A very well informed person suggested that everyone that are able to , draw enough money out to last a week and only use cash for any transaction . Those businesses that say card only would soon change their policy . Imagine the effect , just a month of this would have . So many People are so short sited . A local store tried card payment only ,in the first year of C . I personally left my purchase and walked out , obviously many more did too because they changed their policy .
