Nowadays I rarely watch TV for entertainment. In fact I pick and choose TV series and movies based on what I think the message might be from a predictive programming or social conditioning perspective. If it is entertaining that is a bonus. I wrote two 🧵 on predictive programming before my first Twitter account was shut down. If you haven’t read them they are well worth a read. You’ll see tons of real life examples from the last couple of decades of what we could expect and what has come to pass. Hollywood has an integral role to play in crafting the narrative.

It’s also interesting how they have completely written Afghanistan out of the story despite the hero actually returning from Afghanistan in the book. It’s as if they want to erase all memory of US’s longest running conflict.
