Back in early 2020 I booked and paid for a flight for my family to visit Spain in June of that year. However, once Covid broke out and lockdowns were implemented my wife was reluctant to travel. It was still early days in the “pandemic” and she didn’t really know what to make of the situation.
Brilliant storyand thanks for writing it down. Amazing what people will do when told by their own governments. Critical thinking out the door. People have had enough and this winter will be interesting. Thanks again and please keep up the great work! Regards, David
Thanks so much for your story. Great to read something positive in the morning.
Delighted to hear so many Irish people non compliant with nonsense. I have hope that this will continue for Autumn when they again try try to force this madness on us.
Love reading your stories, thank you for sharing 😊
Great account of your experience. Not only do I expect there to be pushback if the ‘authorities’ attempt a winter regain on idiocy, I believe the people all over the world will be uprising and there will be a trial beginning next for crimes against humanity
The Spanish rules have been insane. My friend told me she was only allowed outside after 8 pm for a walk (masked), because specific age groups were allocated specific times that they were allowed outdoor exercise. OMG.
If you happen to be about still in Costa del Sol and fancy a beer. I set up Bring Back Normal and would love to see if we could collaborate. @bbn_ireland on Twitter (serving a 7 day ban at moment). Also on GETTR - @BBNIreland .Cheers.
I am heartened by this post. I was an American ex-pat living in Dublin as a graduate student in the late 80s and early 90s. The Irish I knew during this period were proud of their history of subversive lawlessness. It’s been tragic to watch past friends become GenX-Euro-Wokesters-stroke-“covidians”.
To me the loss of overarching Catholic identity (even in its atheist form) left a void that other sources of authority were ready to exploit. I would guess something similar to be the case in Spain as well.
This was because of the great evil lie of covid for fear and control and has worked for the few now we have to stand and fight for control back to where it should belong with the people and then bring this evil to account

It's great to have found you here on substack! I used to follow you on twitter. Let's hope they don't just all fall back in line next winter

It takes courage to be one of the first not to comply but others will follow if they feel the same way. They just need someone to lead them!
Thanks, a v interesting read.
